PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking vessel which can be handled with bare hands even in a high temperature state and is excellent in energy saving by effectively suppressing heat radiation from the vessel. SOLUTION: A flange 14 and a shell 11a of a pot 11 which are easily influenced by heat is covered with a heat-insulation member 81 with thermal conductivity lower than that of a pot body 12. Thus, heat radiation from the pot 11 during cooking is effectively suppressed. Furthermore, since the handle 85 of the heat-insulation member 81 is provided so as to cover the flange 14 of the pot 11, the handle 85 can be grasped with the hand and the pot can easily be handled with bare hands even when the pot 11 has a high temperature just after cooking etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
