The device (1) is made of a slightly elastic material, which could be a sheet of cardboard laminated with a foil at both sides. Two horizontal cuts (1.1, 1.2) are made at a distance suitable for the display of the particular picture. A vertical cut is positioned at a short distance from the outer ends of the horizontal cuts (1.1, 1.2). The flap (10) created between the cuts (1.1, 1.2) can be slightly bent to the back around a vertical line (13) at the opposite end of the cuts (1.1, 1.2) in order to hold a picture in position by its elasticity.
