PURPOSE: A method for setting up user data at one touch in a mobile terminal is provided to conveniently set up a plurality of user data, such as bell sounds, background screens, avatars, etc., through theme file downloading only. CONSTITUTION: If a user makes an access request through a key input part for a server that provides theme files(30), a control part makes a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) browser executed so that the WAP browser can transmit an access request message to the server by wireless according to the user's access request(32). In response to the access request message, the server transmits initial screen information(34). The transmitted initial screen is displayed through a display part by the WAP browser(36). The user, confirming the displayed initial screen, makes a theme file search request through the key input part(38). The theme file search request is transmitted to the server(40). The server, in response to the theme file search request, transmits a theme file list(42). The theme file list is displayed through the display part(44). If the user selects a desired theme file and makes a download request for the selected theme file(46), the download request is transmitted to the server through the WAP browser(48). In response to the download request, the server downloads the selected theme file to the user's terminal(50). The downloaded theme file is stored in a theme file memory(52).
