<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of faults or the like by eliminating the supply of an excessive output current to a load when abnormality occurs to the load of a plurality of power supply cards for the parallel redundant operation connected in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply card for the parallel redundant operation has a function in which the output to a load circuit 31 is stopped by detecting that the output current exceeds a first pre-set upper limit value of the output current when the load of the load circuit 31 is increased. In addition to it, each of the two power supply cards 1 for the parallel redundant operation increases the output current corresponding to the increase of the load when the load is increased while the two power supply cards 1 for the parallel redundant operation are connected in parallel and they are connected to the load circuit 31. When each of the two power supply cards 1 for the parallel redundant operation detects that the output current exceeds a second pre-set upper limit value of the output current, it informs it to the power supply card 1 for the parallel redundant operation on the opposite party side of the parallel connection.
