<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment having a hem part made so as not to get thick, requiring no framing work for the hem, and relatively flexible in its design for patterns of an area having variety of knitting structure formed of non-elastic yarns, and the direction of the hem line requiring no framing work. <P>SOLUTION: The garment is formed of stretchable warp knitted fabric and partially uses a part piece P11 having hems 12, 13 without requiring framing work even after cut. The part piece P is formed of first and second non-elastic yarns and elastic yarns: wherein base knit structure comprises 1×1 tricot structure where the second non-elastic yarn and the elastic yarn go along with each other, and at least one of the second non-elastic yarns and the elastic yarns on respective knitting needles forms a close stitch. The part piece P has a part 23 formed of the first non-elastic yarn and different in knit structure from remaining parts. The hems 12, 13 requiring no framing work each comprises a part formed of 1×1 tricot structure S where the first non-elastic yarn goes along with the second non-elastic yarn and the elastic yarn of the base knit structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
