<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure of an air-cooled electronic controller containing box in which highly reliable waterproof performance is attained while reducing the assembling man-hour. <P>SOLUTION: Fixing flanges 12 are fixed to the air inlet 6 and air outlet 7 of a ventilation box 8. A seal part 31 having a circumferential groove 31a is formed integrally with the air inlet 6 and air outlet 7 to cover the fixing flanges 12. When the ventilation box 8 is contained in the containing box body 23 such that the circumferential groove 31a at te seal part 31 engages with a cut 23a of the containing box body 23 and then a containing box cover 24 is applied, waterproofing is realized between the air inlet and outlet 6 and 7 and the containing box 22. Since a work for attaching a seal component of independent member to the fixing flange part of the air inlet/outlet opening is not required, incomplete attachment is eliminated and highly reliable waterproof performance is attained.
