PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous method for ventilation holes in an extension continuous footing for forming, in the continuous footing, the ventilation holes communicating with underfloor ventilation ports in an existing continuous footing when the extension continuous footing of a new building is constructed adjacent to the continuous footing of an existing building. SOLUTION: A box-like mould 14 fixed to the peripheral upper part of the extension side outer surface 7 of the underfloor ventilation ports 4 in the existing continuous footing 1 and having the generally same outline as that of the ventilation holes 6 to be formed in a support piece 12 projecting from a closing member 11 closing the upper part of the underfloor ventilation ports 4 in a direction opposite to the continuous footing 1 is mounted so that its one end is fitted to the closing member 11 and the periphery of the underfloor ventilation ports 4. Concrete mortar is deposited between the outer surface 7 of the continuous footing 1 and the mould 15 separately installed apart a specified distance from the outer surface 7. After the concrete mortar is hardened, the box-like mould 14 is removed to form the ventilation holes 6 in the extension continuous footing 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
