PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the restriction on the sensitivity due to the limit of the sense current which can flow in a magnetic sensor using magnetoresistive effect, a driving method of the magnetic sensor using magnetoresistive effect, and a magnetic recording device. SOLUTION: A magnetoresistive effect element 4 is connected to one part of a feedback loop of a transistor 2 and a LC circuit 3 of an oscillation circuit 1 consisting of the transistor 2 and the oscillation circuit 3, while a switching means 5 is arranged.
