PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise conveying device in a vending machine capable of surely preventing a failure that merchandise is suspended or the like, and easily making thin a merchandise conveying mechanism section in a delivery section from a merchandise storing part. SOLUTION: A merchandise conveying device in the vending machine is provided with a horizontal moving means having a conveyer for receiving merchandise delivered from a merchandise storage part, and for horizontally moving the merchandise and an elevating means for elevating the horizontal moving means, and configured to convey the merchandise to an upper merchandise output port. The horizontal moving means is provided with a protrusion which is integrally elevated with the horizontal moving means and can support the delivery directional rear edge side portion of the merchandise to be conveyed from the merchandise storage part on the conveyer, in a state in which it is floated from the conveyer.
