PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC socket which allows connection to a wiring board connected to an inspection device without causing obstruction in signal transmission, even when inspecting an IC having electrode terminals with a narrow pitch of inter-electrode-terminal interval and having an RF signal terminal. SOLUTION: An insertion hole 21 is provided in a portion corresponding to each of the electrode terminals of the IC in a metal block 2, and a contact probe 1 is provided in the hole 21 to project projection length variable plungers 11, 12 from both ends. The probe connected to the RF signal terminal of the contact probe IC is fixed to form a hollow part 41a with respect to the insertion hole 21, and is formed to be brought into the coaxial probe 41 formed in a prescribed impedance using the contact probe 1 as the center conductor and using an inner wall of the insertion hole 21 as an outer conductor.
