PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden fishpass apparatus with a fish nest having a swift moving way for a fish group going upstream while securing a habitat of aquatic organisms based on the effective use of forest resources and growth and activation of a forest in consideration of environmental pollution in the fishpass and fall work of a river, an artificial canal, or the like. SOLUTION: Timber and a thinning material easily obtained and easily repaired and machined are used to form walls inside the multiple girder framework to constitute a guide frame 17 for swiftly guiding the fish group going upstream and aquatic organisms into the fish nest, a fishpass frame discharge channel 18 for the aquatic organisms to freely move and go upstream inside the fish nest, lower opening parts 19, and partition walls 15 suppressing the splash of running water in the fish nest, the inflow of sediment from the outside of the fishpass, and the intrusion of man and animals. In a season with a large amount of flowing water in the river such as a rainy season or a snow melting season, water flows down the whole surface of the fishpass, but even in a season with a small amount of flowing water such as a dry season, step difference and opening parts are provided in the fishpass to supply fresh water into the fish nest to thereby allow the fish group going upstream to go upstream without straying.
