PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the interests of the players in the games as a whole by varying the frame image of the individual pattern variably displayed. SOLUTION: The game machine has reels 3 for variably displaying a plurality of patterns thereon and the main CPU 41 for controlling the proceeding of the games according to the predetermined operations by the players and also has a liquid crystal screen device 14 which is arranged ahead of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R as viewed from the front to display the images while transparently displaying the patterns displayed on the reels 3L, 3C and 3R on the predetermined area and a screen control CPU 92 for controlling the display of the images. The liquid crystal screen device 14 displays a window frame display area 22 with the predetermined shape surrounding the specified area.
