OPTICAL WAVELENGTH DIVISION MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION NETWORK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wavelength division multiplex transmission network device in which the cost of a facility, the operation and management of an optical fiber can be reduced.

SOLUTION: WDM optical signals of three wavelength multiplexes inputted to respective connection ports P1 to P4 of an optical wavelength router 450 are demultiplexed in multiplex/demultiplex parts 451a to 451d of an optical wavelength router 450 are divided at every wavelength in an optical waveguide 452, and multiplexed in the multiplex/demultiplex parts 451a to 451d. WDM optical signals of three wavelength multiplexes different from the transmitted wavelengths are sent to four transmission/reception devices 410 to 440 through the optical fibers 461 to 463 from the respective connection ports P1 to P4 of the optical wavelength router 450.
