<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize only the specified function of a communication terminal apparatus, to utilize only a prescribed amount of specified functions, to release only the usage contract of a partial function, to continue the usage contract concerning the partial function even when the usage contract of the apparatus is released, and also to carry the contract related to the usage of each function in a certain communication terminal apparatus as it is into a contract related to the usage of each function in another communication terminal apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Information concerning whether each function can be utilized or not, which is held by the communication terminal apparatus, is stored and held in a server which is arranged in a center. Change and update are performed in response to the usage contract of each function of the apparatus. The apparatus receives the information concerning the possibility or impossibility of using each function in response to the contents of the contract, and stores it.
