<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic ticket system easy in the consignation of electronic tickets. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic tickets S1 and S2 are shares sharing secret information S by a (k,n) threshold method. A service receiver enciphers the electronic ticket S1 and transmits it to a service provider together with ID data I. The service provider deciphers enciphered data and verifies the electronic ticket S1 by the (k,n) threshold method, and the service provider provides a service in the case that the authenticity is verified. Shares are made into electronic tickets to prevent impersonation of the third party. Further, when secret information S is made to include a company name, secret information is discriminated to recognize which company a member of requests use of the electronic ticket when the authenticity of an electronic ticket is verified, and this request for use can be permitted whoever requests in the case that he or she is a member of a prescribed company.
