<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a printing plate which has good developing properties, inking properties, printing quality and excellent printability, and a printing plate material to be suitably used. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for making a printing plate for forming an image by performing image exposure with a laser beam the surface of the printing material with its rear surface side fixed to a fixing member having a suction hole through pressure reduction, the image forming region of the printing plate material fixed through pressure reduction has a flatness of within ±50 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
