PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently inspect a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: This inspecting apparatus has constitution such that a red shutter 8, a green shutter 9, and a blue shutter 10 select inspection light with which a transmission type liquid crystal panel 13 arranged at an inspection position is irradiated, and the transmission liquid crystal panel is irradiated with only light of a desired color used for inspection.
