PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container, which can amuse a user when opened or closed to arouse user's interest in buying significantly. SOLUTION: The packaging container is provided with a housing member 10 covering the outer periphery of the container, and a storage member 20 which is fitted into the housing member 10 in a slidable manner and stores articles to be packaged. A resilient member 21, which accumulates elastic energy accumulated by the sliding of the housing member 10 and storage member 20, is formed on either the housing member 10 or the storage member 20. By releasing the energy accumulated by the sliding of the both members, the resilient member 21 collide with the storage member 20 or the housing member 10 to make a sound, which amuses the user when he or she opens the container, thus arouse the user's interest in buying significantly.
