PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling type tea leaf plucker for traveling along a tea ridge, plucking tea leaves, and simultaneously transporting the plucked tea leaves from a plucking apparatus to a tea leaf receiver disposed behind the apparatus, which can especially efficiently blow up and send the plucked tea leaves with pressurized air without scattering the tea leaves outside the tea leaf receiver. SOLUTION: This traveling type tea leaf plucker for striding over a tea ridge T, traveling along the tea ridge T and simultaneously plucking the tea leaves is characterized by disposing the plucking apparatus A under a machine frame 4, disposing the tea leaf receiver B on the machine frame 4, flying up the tea leaves plucked with the rotator 7 and blades 8 of the plucking apparatus A, blowing pressurized air on a pressurized air-blowing port 10a disposed on the tip side of the rotator 7 from another direction, and thus transporting the plucked tea leaves from a transport entrance 11 communicating with the pressurized air-blowing port 10a to guide the rising pressured air, to the tea leaf receiver B through a transport duct 17.
