PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Shoji having decorative openwork capable of adding a new elegance to its appearance in open state or in opening or closing state while adopting mullions having Japanese impression for the Shoji having decorative openwork for viewing snow-scene and outdoor scenery without allowing the inflow of outdoor air by installing plate glass to a part of the Shouji used together with the plate glass portion and that can be opened or closed. SOLUTION: This Shoji 1 with decorative openwork has a movable Shoji frame 4 which is so assembled as to permit a movement in up and down direction as well as stoppage by sliding grooves 3, 3 as a guide inside the main body frame 2 of the Shoji; and two mullion frames 51, 51 or more can be assembled with freely folding structures 6, 6 in the movable Shoji frame 4 in the configuration.
