PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film having antifouling properties and affinity with ink. SOLUTION: The protective film has a layer of a fluorine-containing surfactant and dimethyl silicone on the surface of a substrate film. The surfactant has fluorine in its structure. A fluorophosphate is preferable, and its ammonium salt is preferable. A thermoplastic resin is used in the substrate film. An adhesive layer is preferably formed on the surface of a substrate layer to stick the protective film to an object. The protective film high in transparency is preferable for a polarizing plate.
