发明名称 METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MASTER CARRIER FOR MAGNETIC TRANSFER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transfer characteristic by reducing deformation affected when a metal plate laminated on an original disk having a pattern is subjected to peeling off or blanking, obtaining a master substrate with high flatness, and improving adherence to a slave medium at the time of magnetic transfer in manufacturing a master substrate constituting a master carrier. SOLUTION: A master carrier 1 for magnetic transfer is provided with the master substrate 2 made of metal, including a embossed pattern P corresponding to information to be transferred. A blanking/manufacturing process for peeling off the metallic plate 5 on which the master substrate 2 is laminated on the original disk 13 with a pattern P formed into prescribed thickness by electrocasting, etc., and blanking the master substrate into a desired size, and a distortion eliminating process (f) which restores received deformation of the metal plate 5 after peeling off the metallic plate 5 from the master disk 13 are provided to secure flatness and to improve the transfer characteristic.
