<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for recovering CO<SB>2</SB>by which the heat energy necessary for regenerating a CO<SB>2</SB>adsorption liquid and the power necessary for compressing recovered CO<SB>2</SB>are supplied and which has high heat efficiency . <P>SOLUTION: The system for recovering CO<SB>2</SB>includes a high pressure turbine 3, a medium pressure turbine 7 and a low pressure turbine 8, a boiler 1 for producing steam for driving the turbines, absorption tower 18 provided with the CO<SB>2</SB>adsorption liquid for absorbing and removing CO<SB>2</SB>from a waste combustion gas of the boiler, a regeneration tower 24 for regenerating the adsorption liquid in which CO2 is absorbed, a compressor 42 for compressing the removed CO<SB>2</SB>, a turbine 41 for the compressor driven by a part of steam discharged from the high pressure turbine, turbines 51 and 52 for auxiliary machine driven by a part of steam discharged from the medium pressure turbine and supply pipes 45 and 55 for supplying the steam discharged from the turbine for the compressor and the turbine for auxiliary machine to a reboiler for the regeneration tower as a heating source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
