<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation of an internal circuit when an LSI is started, and to prevent malfunctions of an internal circuit, and to protect personal information stored in a storage element. <P>SOLUTION: An LSI for an IC card is provided with a voltage converting part 3 for converting an external power supply voltage V<SB>DD</SB>supplied from an external power source 2 into an internal power supply voltage V<SB>dd</SB>being a desired value, a voltage stabilization detecting part 10 for detecting that the internal power supply voltage supplied from the voltage converting part to internal circuit respective parts 4 to 8 is stably supplied to the internal circuit respective parts and an operation stopping part 16 for stopping the operations of the internal circuit respective parts until the stabilization of the internal power supply voltage is detected by the voltage stabilization detecting part. Also, this LSI for an IC card may be provided with an illegal analysis detecting part 20 for, when the stabilization of the internal power supply voltage is detected by the voltage stabilization detecting part, and the stop of the internal circuit is released by the operation stopping part so that the internal circuit can be operated, detecting illegal analysis from the outside to storage parts 5 to 8 in the internal circuit by detecting the history of an external reset signal inputted from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
