<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store and provide image data which can be prevented from being altered. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile unit 100 having a photographing means photographs an image, and generates image data expressing an image, and instantaneously transmits the generated image data through a mobile communication network 400 to an image server 200. Then, the mobile unit 100 transmits a registration request showing the request of the registration of the image data in a notary server 300 through the mobile communication network 400 to the image server 200. When the registration request transmitted from the mobile unit 100 is received by the image server 200, the image server 200 transfers the image data and the registration request through an Internet 600 to the authentication server 300.
