PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for stably restoring and extracting sub information comprising a contrast image and code information from image information subjected to electronic watermark processing. SOLUTION: In the image processing method wherein other sub information is embedded to main image information in an invisible state and the embedded sub information is restored, supplement processing of essential configuration information of the code information is applied to the sub information restored after the electronic watermark restoration processing by using a positioning mark detected in advance for a reference.
