PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electric power steering device optimizing the amount of phase lead compensation amount in regard to steering torque. SOLUTION: In the vehicular electric power steering device equipped with an electric motor generating assist torque to the steering torque by rotating operation of a steering wheel, a phase of the steering torque is lead-compensated according to the magnitude of the assist torque. To put it more concretely, according to a ratio of the assist torque in regard to the steering torque, a filter transfer function of phase lead compensation to the steering torque is decided.
