PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of formats usable with a clipboard. SOLUTION: A data object including data to be transferred which are formed following the clipboard format of a file group descriptor is created. The data object includes the data structure of a file group descriptor for describing the data as if the data are a group of files regardless of how the data are actually stored (42).
