PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simplifying application of marking to a circuit board, whereby the polarity marks on the board and mount positions of components can be identified, in order to enhance the mount work efficiency of the components onto the circuit board, and to provide the circuit board to which marking is applied. SOLUTION: Solder resist is applied to the front side of the board 2 except parts of the board, wherein the marks 1a, 1b are needed and to which terminals or the like are connected, to avoid solder from being adhered to the front side of the board, and thereafter wiring parts of the circuit board are dipped to a solder bath to form the marks by soldering. This method permits marking applied to the front side of the circuit board, without the need for providing other steps, such as silk print for enhancing the workability of component mount to the circuit board.
