发明名称 SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR MOTOR DRIVEN VEHICLE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve vehicle performance by using a new installing method of a motor for driving wheels in a motor driven vehicle. SOLUTION: A connecting section 32 is formed in a motor housing 30 of the motor 12, and interconnects the motor 12 and a car body so that the motor 12 can rotate about an axis defined by the joint 32. The tip of a motor shaft 34 is connected to a wheel 40 via a fixed-type constant velocity joint 20. By disposing the motor 12, a suspension device for making the motor 12 itself function as a suspension arm is obtained. In the suspension device having such structure, the vehicle can be compacted by disposing the motor 12 between the car body and the wheel 40, and unspring weight can be small comparing with a wheel-in motor manner.
