PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle for making air conditioning wind flow substantially uniformly in a room. SOLUTION: The air conditioner for the vehicle uses a blower 2 on both suction sides for sucking air from both sides in the rotating axis direction of a fan 2a, guides the indoor air sucked from a remote suction inlet 7b to a fan suction inlet 7d at one end in the rotating axis direction of the fan 2a, and guides the indoor air sucked from an adjacent suction inlet 7a to a fan suction inlet 7c at the other end in the rotating axis direction of the fan 2a. Thus, the whole amount of suction negative pressureΔP generated in the fan suction inlet 7c is consumed for sucking air from the adjacent suction inlet 7a, and the whole amount of suction negative pressureΔP generated in the fan suction inlet 7d is consumed for sucking air from the remote suction inlet 7b, so that the indoor air can be certainly sucked from the remote suction inlet 7b. Therefore, deflected flow of the air conditioning wind can be prevented, so that air conditioning wind flow adjusted in temperature can be uniformly in the room, and the entire indoor space can be made comfortable.
