PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure of installing a transparent panel in an electric pot which has a transparent window for displaying a water quantity formed by mounting a transparent panel and a decoration sheet to an opening formed on the front surface of a metallic external case. SOLUTION: At the front surface 11a of the external case 11, a stepped opening part having one step of step part 112 and a flange part 113 of a prescribed depth folded inward nearly at a right angle are formed, and a plurality of notch parts 114 are formed separately at a folded part from the step part 112 to the flange part 113. The transparent panel 76 has engaging parts respectively consisting of a first protrusion 762 and a second protrusion 764 at a plurality of places. The first protrusions 762 engages with the notch parts 114, and the transparent panel 76 is mounted to the stepped opening part of the external case 11 so as to interpose the flange part 113 in a depth direction between the first protrusion 762 and the second protrusion 764.
