PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adsorbent material for hemocatharsis by which a sugar chain abnormal type IgA1, "a sugar chain abnormal type IgA1 cellularity fibronectin composite", and IgA2 in the blood of a patient of IgA nephropathy are adsorbed and removed from inside of the body. SOLUTION: The adsorbent material for hemocatharsis is "jacalin and/or jacalin inducer" to be combined specifically with IgA2 or "heat treated jacalin decomposition product" to be combined specifically with sugar chain abnormal type IgA1 and "a sugar chain abnormal type IgA1 cellularity fibronectin composite", and consists of a structural body obtained by fixing the adsorbent material to a water-insoluble carrier.
