PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven wheelchair enabling transfer from a bed and the use of toilet or the like. SOLUTION: Left and right seats 1a and 2a are opened and closed by the rotation of seat supporting frames 1 and 2 freely rotatably pivoted to an elevating / lowering frame bearing 11. An elevating / lowering frame 12 for which the elevating / lowering frame bearing 11 is fixed at an upper part is supported by a ball screw 21, a nut 22 and a spherical washer 23 and is elevated and lowered. Also, a support pipe 3 and a footrest 4 are attached to the elevating / lowering frame 12 and elevated and lowered together with the seats. There are six traveling wheels including left and right driving wheels capable of small turns. Side rollers 34 provided for two or more pieces on each side and attached to the inner side of a U-shaped lower frame 14 are turned to guides for moving backwards along a toilet outer surface.
