PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling automatic hole-digging machine, capable of simply performing hole-digging works in a good efficiency by anybody without asking body power or ages in performing the works of digging holes 12 for fix planting. SOLUTION: This self-traveling automatic hole-digging machine for fix planting capable of adjusting furrow height C, the depth H of the hole, the set interval B of the holes, the arrangements A of the holes and the styles of the hole arrangements freely is provided by lifting up and down a cylinder 2b for digging holes along a guiding groove 2e to dig holes continuously from the upper surface of the mulching sheet 13 in a field 12 by a constant interval, while recovering and holding the cut out pieces 13a of the mulching sheet and discharging the residual soil in the cylinder 2b for digging holes to a passage F. Also, although in the self-traveling automatic hole-digging machine, left and right driving wheels 9d can rotate simultaneously in performing the hole-digging works, on setting a rachet-on/off handle 6f as a cut-off state, the left and right driving wheels 9d become free and can make each optional movement singly, therefore the machine can cope with the rotation, etc., in a narrow plastic greenhouse.
