The invention relates to recombinant, FAD-dependent sulfhydryl oxidases, in which at least one cysteine radical is mutated in such a way that a modification of maximum absorption in comparison with a wildtype protein is brought about. The invention also relates to the corresponding nucleic acid molecule and to a method for the production thereof. The invention further relates to the utilization of said protein as biocatalyst for the synthesis of disulfide bridge-type bonds and their transfer onto substrates as well as to regulatable indicators for redox reactions. |
