PURPOSE: Provided are a ball for acupressure comprising yellow ocher and gypsum, and an article using the ball, which are environmentally friendly and are helpful to human health, and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The ball for acupressure is manufactured by mixing a mixture of a yellow ocher and a gypsum in a ratio of 40:40 as necessary components with additives selected from a charcoal, a lime, a fragrant tree dust, herbal medicine extracts, flower extracts, solid manures and a pieces of manures; kneading the mixture with water to obtain a thick paste; and molding the paste used at a seat to form a ball for acupressure. The obtained ball is used in various applications such as in a panel for planting, in a sports equipment, in a toilet stool, and in a bedding. The component and its used amount of additive are suitably determined according to the use of the balls.
