PURPOSE: Earth structure of an ignition transformer for a gas oven is provided to cut down manufacturing cost, and to reduce working process by fastening the earth plate to the ground terminal of the ignition transformer without a ground cable. CONSTITUTION: An ignition transformer(80) of a gas oven is composed of five high voltage lead wire terminals for outputting high voltage to burners and a ground terminal(84). An earth plate(90) is formed in the ground terminal to earth the ignition transformer, and the end of the earth plate is contacted to a chassis(81) for forming the frame of the gas oven. The earth plate is integrally formed with the ground terminal, and made of conductive materials. The ground terminal is contacted to the chassis in mounting the ignition transformer in the chassis.
