PURPOSE: An apparatus for retrieving bowling balls in a billiard type bowling game apparatus is provided to allow the bowling balls to be readily and accurately retrieved with a simplified retrieving structure, resulting in a reduction of manufacturing cost thereof. CONSTITUTION: After a bowling ball(3) struck by a billiard cue strikes a plurality of bowling pins(7) standing at a rear end of a bowling lane(1), the bowling ball is retrieved by means of a retrieving rail(101). The rail is fixedly installed on a fixing plate(102) of a body so as to be spaced apart from a conveyor(8). As the bowling ball is naturally guided by means of an inclined guiding surface and a guiding groove(103-1), the bowling ball is moved upward along the inner circumference of a bowling ball guiding ring plate(105) and the inner surface of a retrieving body by means of bowling ball driving wheels(107) of a driving shaft, so as to be disposed on a tip end of the rail.
