A contact nose (15) in which an ejection opening (24) provided coaxial with an ejection opening (18) of a nose portion (13) for slidably guiding a driver i s formed is provided on the head of the nose portion (13) so as to be slidable and urged toward the head of the ejection opening (18). A guiding inclinatio n surface (28) is formed on the upper rear side of the ejection opening (24) o f the contact nose (15). The guiding inclination surface (28) guides the tip o f a nail, driven out in an inclined state from the ejection opening (18) of th e nose portion (13), into the ejection opening (24).
