<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely control the shape of a light distribution patten and light intensity distribution in a vehicular head-light device constituted so as to form the light distribution patten having a horizontal cut-off line at the upper end part thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The device has five first lighting fixture units 20A, 20B to emit lights for forming the horizontal cut-off line. Each of the units 20A, 20B comprises a first light source 24 composed of a light emitting diode forwardly disposed so that one side of a rectangular-shape light emitting chip 24a is extended in a horizontal direction; and each first projection lens 22A, 22B disposed in front of each light source 24 to project an image of each light source 24 in front of each lighting fixture unit 20A, 20B as an inverted image, respectively. Thereby, the inverted image of respective light sources 24 projected in front of each fixture unit 20A, 20B is made in a roughly rectangular-shape having an upper end edge extending in a nearly horizontal direction.
