<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and stably attach an image formation unit attachable/detachable to/from an image forming apparatus main body to an apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation unit 11 possessing at least a photoreceptive drum is made attachable/detachable to/from an apparatus housing 12, and a toner image on the photoreceptive drum is transferred to recording paper at a transfer position. A guide path 13 provided with an insertion end and a last end and to guide the image formation unit is formed at the apparatus housing, and a positioning member 22a guided by the guide path and to move the image formation unit along the guide path is formed at the image formation unit. The positioning member is formed at a position coincident with the shaft core of the photoreceptive drum, and the positioning member is inserted into the guide path from the insertion end, and when the positioning member is positioned at the last end of the guide path by the gravity of the image formation unit, the image formation unit is pressed downward by a pressing member 31 and is held at a normal position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
