<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the upsizing of a system and increase of a cost, and to replace a toner bottle with high reliability and with high operability by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The developer replenishment system includes: a movable hold member 300 that detachably holds the toner bottle 1 for discharging developer stored inside from a discharging opening; a turnable operation cam 31 that guides the holding member 300 so that the toner bottle 1 can be attached to or detached from the main body of the system; and guide members 31d and 31e which guide the toner bottle 1 so that it is attached to or detached from the holding member 300. The guide members 31d and 31e are disposed near the entrance opening of the operation cam 31 where the discharging opening of the toner bottle 1 enters, and are movable by the turning operation of the operation cam 31. In the position where the operation cam 31 does not allow attachment of the toner bottle 1 to the main body of the system, the guide members 31d and 31e guide the toner bottle 1 so as to be attached to or detached from the holding member 300.
