COOLING DEVICE AND AUXILIARY POWER SUPPLY FOR ELECTRIC RAILWAY VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which can be miniaturized without degrading cooling effect, and to provide an auxiliary power supply for electric railway vehicles which can be miniaturized by mounting the cooling device.

SOLUTION: A cooling device 1 is provided with IGBT70a-70f applied to an inverter 70 as well as a thyristor 30, and comprises a cooling body 2 capable of cooling the maximum loss occurrence in the fluctuation range of an input voltage among the synthesized loss occurrences with the elements. The cooling device 1 is mounted on an auxiliary power supply 100 for electric railway vehicles.
