PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of simplifying the operation and reducing the manufacturing cost by preventing the complication in operation caused by the increase of the number of operation switches on an operation panel. SOLUTION: This humidifier comprises a humidifying means 1 for humidifying a room, a humidity setting means 2 for setting target humidity, an operation mode switching means 3 for switching a plurality of operation modes, an operation switching on/off means 4 for switching the operation, a humidity detecting means 5 for detecting the humidity of the room, a timer means 6 for automatically switching on and off the humidifying means 1 by a timer, a timer-off setting means 7a and a timer-on setting means 7b respectively setting a timer-off time and a timer-on time of the timer means 6, a display means 8 for displaying various operating conditions, and a control means 9 for controlling all of the operations, and the timer-off setting means 7a and the timer-in setting means 7b are mounted in one timer setting means 7.
