PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera and a photographing control method which enables the manual white balance adjustment and the shade correction at once to obtain a high accuracy photographed picture. SOLUTION: When an operating unit 60 detects an operating information indicated by the manual white balance adjustment, a controller 26 makes out correcting conditions for correcting the shading of imaging signals and correcting conditions for adjusting the white balance in photographing for determining the conditions and stores them in a memory 50, and a digital signal processor 40 executes a shading correction process and a white balance adjustment process for the signal data generated by a regular photographing according to these correcting conditions.
