PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, easily and inexpensively, constitute a power supply circuit having a large load capacity and requiring the high stability of a power supply capable of resisting such wide-range voltage fluctuation as that at the startup of an engine by the use of a battery which supplies power to a starter for starting the engine for driving a generator as a power supply source of a controller of the generator. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises a transformer where a plurality of input ends of the different number of turns are provided and a prescribed input end is applied with a voltage where a battery output has been converted into an AC, an input voltage detection switching means which detects a battery voltage and if the battery voltage fluctuates, switches the input end of a battery output so that the transformer outputs a voltage within a prescribed range, and a rectifying/smoothing circuit for converting a transformer output into a DC. Thus the input voltage detection switching means detects the voltage fluctuation of the battery and switches the input end of the transformer so that the rectifying/smoothing circuit is applied with a voltage within a specified range.
