PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup beverage vending machine that makes it possible to keep constant the amount of the discharged ice depending on the quality of ice discharged from an ice maker and to accurately obtain the amount of small broken ice needed particularly for manufacturing frozen beverage. SOLUTION: When ice cubes are discharged from an ice maker to supply to the cup of beverage, a control means 130 receives the input of a temperature signal from a temperature detecting means 132 and regulates the amount of the ice discharged from the ice maker depending on the changes in the quality of the ice affected by the ambient temperature of the ice maker. As a result, even if the amount of ice cubes retained varies as the ambient temperature of the ice maker varies during the summer or in temperate regions or during the winter or in cold regions, the amount of ice cubes discharged from the ice maker can be kept constant and the amount of small broken ice needed particularly for manufacturing frozen beverage can be accurately obtained.
