PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance rock bolt working method capable of introducing compressive force into a slope by introducing tension to a high-performance rock bolt, working grating cribs having strength equal to or larger than a conventional grating cribs, achieving good workability in the construction field, positively preventing collapse of the grating cribs and the slope due to rain etc., by working the grating cribs as holding works for reinforcing the strength of the grating cribs per se, and suppressing works for lowering hydraulic pressure in gaps in the soil of the ground, over a long period of time, and to provide the grating cribs formed according to the method. SOLUTION: According to the method a core member which is at least partially formed of a chain member, is arranged on the slope by interposing spacers between the chain member and the slope, and reinforcing members are driven into the slope. Then the core member is connected to the reinforcing members, and further, mortar or concrete is sprayed over the slope so as to cover the core members, to thereby form the grating cribs.
