PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a bagged article sealing device to a bagging machine by a straight line. SOLUTION: The bagged article 16 delivered to a first conveyer 23 from the bagging machine 13 is transferred toward a sealing position so that an opening of a bag 11 faces upstream side of the transferring direction.While holding the opening of the bag 11 of the bagged article 16 in an opening state by sucking the bag by side and upper members 35, 36 from outside, a bag barrel is transferred to the position farther than a seal mechanism 20, and is received by a second conveyer 24.Together with deaerating a bag extended part by a deaerating means 48, while restricting the position of the bagged article 16 with a stopper 41, a gusset fold-in part is formed in both sides of the bag extended part in the breadth direction by gusset forming members 43, 43. While the bag barrel of the bagged article 16 is kept in the sucked state, a belt-like seal part in the breadth direction is heat-sealed at a predetermined position of the bag extended part by the seal mechanism 20.
